Credo action, a publication of Working Assets, has started a campaign to stop the moratorium against industrial wind projects.
They claim that Vermonters overwhelmingly approve of wind energy development in the state, with 69% expressing approval in a recent poll and just 17% expressing opposition.
The petition reads:"Blocking all wind energy projects in Vermont for three years would be a huge step in the wrong direction. As a Vermont resident, I urge you to oppose any legislation that would block or slow down the deployment of clean energy in Vermont."
