Gauging Wind's Place In Vermont
Wednesday, 06/06/12, Noon and 7pm
Jane Lindholm, Produced by Samantha Fields
Right now in Vermont, more than a dozen industrial wind projects are either operating, under construction or proposed. While surveys indicate that a majority of Vermonters support wind energy, projects across the state are meeting with vocal opposition. We get a status update on many of these projects from VPR's John Dillon. And we talk to Alan Betts, a climate scientist whose research is funded by the National Science Foundation, and Luke Snelling, the executive director of Energize Vermont, a statewide responsible renewable energy development group, about the state's relationship to wind, and whether - and where - it fits in Vermont.
http://www.vpr.net/news_detail/94748/gauging-winds-place-in-vermont/
Thursday, June 7th, between 9 and 11 in the morning.
Chris Braithwaite, author of 'Stand Against the Wind' will be on the Mark Johnson show, WDEV Radio. Listen live on-line, or on 96.1 FM and 550 AM.

For others interested in viewing with faster hook-ups, this is a great way to view the information. It does take up to 1 week for the videos to be uploaded.
